Also, to answer your question: Some amarogs resemble more to animals than others. Just like some humans have larger ears than others, some amarogs have tails or hoofs or feet. The reason why humans SHOULDN'T be able to use shamanism is because not only does it allow you to use the flow of nature's energy but it enhances your connection to nature itself. Eg, if you're a cat-spirited amarog your agility will increase while using shamanism, it even visually changes you to the animal aspect to a further degree.
